The weekend was fantastic. Then as if on a cue from the start of autumn on the calendar, the weather turned instantly from Indian summer to fall. The wind has been blustery, temperatures a bit cooler and the clouds and rain alternating with the sun.
To me, autumn’s arrival means that winter is around the corner and that within a month, the light balance will shift and it will be mostly dark here. I dread it. I’ve always been a summer girl, but never more than what I have been living here in the land of feast and famine daylight. At least all the autumn colors around town are beautiful.
